Here is my photoshoot workflow:

Plus, we’ll have a one-on-one video consultation to plan out your perfect look, including selecting 4-5 outfit changes. Don’t stress if your wardrobe needs a refresh – I’ve got you covered with advice on where to shop or borrow and access to my curated collection of outfits. Let’s make your portrait session dreams a reality!
STEP 2. Get ready to be pampered! Your custom photoshoot experience comes complete with professional hair and makeup on the big day. Get ready to feel like a superstar! Our talented makeup artist will work their magic to enhance your natural beauty and have you looking stunning. While you’re being transformed, we’ll also take the time to connect on a deeper level, diving into your story and getting to know you on a personal level. It’s all about making you feel incredible inside and out!
STEP 3. During your fully guided photoshoot, which typically lasts about 2 hours, you’ll have the opportunity for 4 to 5 wardrobe changes. Don’t stress about posing—I’ll guide you every step of the way, ensuring you look your best from head to toe. Plus, as a photographer with an intuitive gift for seeing someone’s essence, I’ll bring out your unique personality and inner beauty in every shot. Together, we’ll capture the most stunning portraits you’ve ever seen of yourself, reflecting your true self in every image. STEP 4. Scheduled to take place immediately after your Photoshoot or the next day, depending on your availability. You will be reviewing all photographs taken during the session and making your purchasing decisions. Your selected images will be then fully retouched and shared with you within 7 days from your session. Folio boxes will be ready within 48 hours from complete retouching, wall art will need up to 3 weeks for production and delivery.
I don’t think I’m photogenic. Can you help?
Absolutely! It’s completely normal to feel unsure about how you’ll look in photographs, but rest assured, we specialize in bringing out the best in everyone, regardless of what they think about their photogenicity.

How should I prepare for the portrait session?
As soon as you book your portrait session, we’ll send you our comprehensive beauty and preparation guides. These guides are packed with valuable tips and advice on skincare, haircare, makeup, and overall preparation for the day of your session. From skincare routines to hairstyle suggestions, we’ll help you feel your absolute best leading up to your session
Approximately 1 to 2 weeks before your scheduled photoshoot, you’ll have a 30-45 minute video wardrobe consultation with Renata. During this session, we’ll discuss your personal style, preferred outfits, and any specific looks you want to achieve. We’ll provide guidance on selecting clothing that complements your body type and enhances your natural beauty, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable on camera.
How soon after the portrait session will I receive my photos?
We strive to make the process of viewing and receiving your photos as quick and seamless as possible. Here is what you can expect after your photoshoot:
- Photo Viewing & Ordering Appointment: We arrange a viewing appointment either on the same day or the following day, depending on both our availability and yours. This appointment is your opportunity to view the initial images and purchase your favourites.
- Retouching and Approval: The retouching process takes up to 7 days. After retouching, we will send you the edits for your approval. This step ensures that you are completely satisfied with the outcome of each photo.
- Digital Delivery: Once you approve the edits, we provide you with both colour and black and white copies of each image as a digital download. This allows you immediate access to your beautifully retouched photos.
- Folio Box Preparation: If you have ordered a folio box with prints, it takes up to 2 days to prepare and will be shipped to you via courier. The folio box is an elegant way to store and showcase your cherished prints.
- Wall Art Production and Delivery: For clients who order wall art, please allow 2-3 weeks for production and delivery. Our wall art is produced in Italy, ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship and materials.
We understand the excitement of seeing your final images and work diligently to deliver them promptly while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your satisfaction with your portraits is paramount to us.
Is there a privacy policy for the images taken during my session?
Yes, we have a firm privacy policy in place to protect your images and the confidentiality of your session. We understand the importance of privacy and ensure that no images will be made public without your explicit consent.
At Renata Clarke Portraits, we respect your privacy and handle all images with utmost care. After your session, you have the option to sign a model release form, which allows you to specify if and which images can be shared publicly. This form also lets you detail how these selected images may be used, whether for promotional purposes on our website, in our studio portfolio, or for marketing materials.
If you choose not to sign the model release form, rest assured that your images will remain private and will not be used or disclosed outside of your personal viewing and ordering. Your privacy and comfort are our top priority, and we are committed to respecting your wishes regarding the use and handling of your photographs.
How long does the portrait session last?
Please allow 4.5 hours for the makeover and portrait session and around 45 – 60 minutes for the photo viewing & ordering appointment which is usually held in the evening on the same day or the day after, depending on your schedule.
Can I bring a friend or a family member to a portrait session?
We are a small boutique studio focused on premium experience for each one of our clients and that is why we take bookings for up to 3 people at a time if a full makeover is required for each person. We can allow an additional 3 people who do not require hair & makeup. This ensures each of you receives a high level of service we strive to provide. Please note: we require £95 for each additional person to cover the makeup & hair.
What if I’m not happy with how I look in the photos?
We completely understand your concern, and your satisfaction is our top priority. Rest assured, we have measures in the unlikely event of any dissatisfaction and ensure you love the final results of your photoshoot.
Here’s how we handle this situation:
- Free Re-Shoot Option: If, for any reason, you’re not entirely happy with how you look in the photos and do not purchase any of your photos, we offer a complimentary re-shoot within 30 days of your original session. This allows us to address any concerns or preferences you may have and capture images that you’re completely satisfied with.
- Open Communication: Throughout the process, we encourage open and honest communication. If there’s anything specific you’re unhappy with during the viewing session, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to address it. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re committed to making sure you’re thrilled with the final results.
- Professional Retouching: Renata will work closely with you to ensure any retouching adjustments or enhancements are made to your satisfaction. We want you to feel confident and beautiful in every image, and we’ll go above and beyond to achieve that.

What types of printed products do you offer?
At Renata Clarke Portraits, we specialize in creating not just photographs, but beautifully crafted, lasting pieces of art. Our fine art matted prints are perfect for framing or storing in a bespoke folio box. These start at £250 per image and include matching digital files for your convenience.
Can I get my prints framed? Absolutely! We offer custom framing options, handmade to order through a partnership with the Bevere Gallery in Worcester. Framing starts at £99, and we are delighted to offer a special 15% discount exclusively for our clients, ensuring that your portraits are displayed as beautifully as they are captured.
What are your options for digital collections? For those who prefer digital formats, our collections begin at £740 for a set of 5 high-resolution images. This option allows you the flexibility to use your images as you see fit, combining both quality and convenience.
What is included in the folio box & digital collections? Our folio box collections, starting at £900, include 5 fine art matted 6”x8” prints along with corresponding digital images. Each collection is presented in a luxury folio box, featuring an elegant acrylic window to display and protect your prints. This option is perfect for those who value both physical and digital forms of their cherished memories.
Do you offer any solutions for financing my portrait purchases? Understanding the importance of flexibility in financing, we offer two convenient payment options:
- PayPal Pay in 3: This option allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over three payments, making it easier to manage your budget without sacrificing quality.
- 0% Finance Over 4 Months: For those who prefer a longer period, we provide an interest-free finance option that spreads your payment over four months.
Do all print purchases come with digital versions? Yes, any prints or wall art you order from us include the corresponding digital versions in the size purchased.
