This is for any women who are used to sacrificing themselves for everyone else in their world. Who never give themselves time for… themselves. Who deserve to celebrate themselves. And don’t need permission from anyone else to do it! I want you to feel beautiful and confident and to discover parts of yourself you would like to reconnect with or perhaps you never knew you had!
So I’m looking for 10 women who would like a magazine style portrait session and in exchange for taking part in the series you will receive a complimentary matted 7″x10 print and matching digital file of your choice valued at £149!!!
I know what beautiful looks like and I can see yours. I know how to bring it forward, and how to capture it with my camera. I also know what it’s like to be a woman who struggles to see her own beauty. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create the most beautiful portraits you have ever had. I want to show you how beautiful you are; to help you reconnect with the woman you see in your portraits, and be awed by her again. My main focus is to empower you by celebrating your beauty and the moment you are in right now.
What inspired DISCOVER YOU?
My clients, their stories and transformation they went through from the moment they booked the shoot to the day they viewed their finished portraits!
Over the past year when I transitioned from fashion and wedding photography to the magazine style portraits of everyday women, I realised this was so much more than just taking beautiful images. It was a journey and transformation often so powerful and inspiring it was almost magical. And I’m not only talking about the physical beauty here. The confidence, empowerment, self love and true inner beauty of clients were so visible on the images we created together. It was also something very noticeable to my clients’ friends and family. The change in the way they dressed, carried themselves and this fantastic positive energy they spread around everywhere they went. It was remarkable. Still is!
What is DISCOVER YOU about?
I wanted to celebrate us, everyday women, by creating a blog series featuring some incredible women – their stories and final portraits from their photoshoot.
I want them to showcase who they are now, what are their dreams, how they define beauty, what words of wisdom they have for other women who struggle to see their own beauty and how they felt seeing beautiful portraits from their photoshoot for the first time. I want them to share anything about themselves, their experiences and believes they think would be encouraging and inspiring to other women.
Each blog post (hosted on my website) will feature one of my heroines in form of an interview. I will share these on my Facebook page too so that other women can be inspired and empowered.
At the end of my campaign I will also design a PDF magazine with shortened version of all blog posts. This will be emailed directly to each participant making it a perfect keepsake they can get back to time and again. Also they can easily share their copy of the PDF magazine with anyone they want to!
WHAT TO EXPECT?
STEP 1
STYLING CONSULTATION: a video or in person consultation to design your shoot, talk about styling, wardrobe choices and general mood for your session
STEP 2
PHOTOSHOOT: professional make up and hair styling by one of my top makeup artists to make you look and feel gorgeous and fully guided 2hrs – 2.5hrs photoshoot with 4 -5 wardrobe changes. I will pose you from head to toe so you don’t have to worry about anything!
STEP 3
REVEAL: this is the best part where you get to see in person your finished portraits and choose your complimentary 7″x10″ matted print valued at £129. You will also have an opportunity to purchase any additional images you absolutely love and cannot live without. There is no obligation to purchase and no hard sale.
STEP 4
BLOG POST: This is where we work on creating a blog post featuring your story and images. We will use an interview form with several base questions emailed to you before the session and then after your reveal I’ll send few more questions tailored specifically to you. A link to the draft post will be shared with you so you can check it out and approve before making it public. Once the campaign is complete, I will also design a PDF magazine featuring each participant.
A £79 fee is required to cover the cost of professional makeup and hair styling and will be required at the time of booking to secure your date.
